About the Safety Unit

The Safety Unit is responsible for promoting and raising awareness of safe work within the University.

The Unit is headed by the director of the Safety Unit, Mr. Hadar Rahamim, who is directly subordinate to the CEO of the University. The Unit Director coordinates safety issues in the University in the following areas: General safety, chemical safety, biological safety and ionizing radiation and laser safety. In all of the above fields there is a safety officer who is responsible for the professional field in which he/she specializes.

The Unit's activity is derived from laws and regulations in the above areas and from the University’s procedures. The Unit decides on procedures and work rules, deals with ongoing training and explanations, and is at the service of employees and students and relates to professional issues in the above fields of safety.

Our vision

The Safety Unit strives to ensure and maintain the safety of employees and all those who enter the University, including students, guests, visitors, etc. The Unit acts with all the means available to it in order to prevent injury or accidents on the University campus.

In the Safety Unit we work to supervise and guarantee the existence of safety equipment, and risk-free systems, processes and work conditions.
