Radiation Safety in the University

Tel Aviv University is an institution of higher education that carries out teaching, research and development in different fields, some of which make use of ionized radiation. Work with radiation takes place in the University’s facilities that have been authorized by the relevant government ministries and in accordance with permits and authorizations that have been granted.

The area of radiation in Tel Aviv University is supervised by Ms. Rinat Edelheit. The University employs a radiation safety officer and deputies who are responsible for radiation safety in the faculties.
