Laser Safety in the University

Tel Aviv University is an institution of higher education that carries out teaching, research and development in different fields, some of which make use of radiating equipment. Work with lasers takes place in the University’s facilities that have been authorized by the Ministry of Labor and in accordance with the terms of the authorization.

The University employs a laser safety officer who helps maintain safe work with lasers in laboratories. The area of lasers in Tel Aviv University is supervised by Ms. Rinat Edelheit.
